TIME TRAVEL VIDEOS are a mixture of cine film, video footage and stills taken by amateur photographers at British Drag Races, Rod Runs and Custom Car Shows from the 60s to the early 90s, combined with informative narration. You won’t see computer graphics, trick photography or hear stereo sound, but if you want to see what was happening during the first thirty years of British Drag Racing and Hot Rodding through the lenses of fans and racers who were lucky enough to witness and record the events, you will enjoy TIME TRAVEL VIDEOS...

TIME TRAVEL 37
features the NASC Nationals held at Bruntingthorpe in 1988. Unlike previous Time Travel DVDs this was originally filmed on video so the sound track has been left as it came out the camera. This was the 14th NASC Nationals and the biggest so far but sadly the last to be held at the popular Bruntingthorpe venue as local residents curtailed any further activities there. Most of the DVD includes film of cruising up and down the spacious airfield runways. If you were there you’re probably on it and there’s also some film of the drag racing. Since the mid 80s there had been a growing interest in 40s and 50s style hot rods which had caused quite a bit of press in the rodding magazines both in the UK and America, some good some bad. A comment had been made that these cars made up only 1% of the UK scene so at Bruntingthorpe all the Low Flyers had 'the growing 1%' on the back of their cars...

There’s footage of the show and shine and some drag racing as some of the rodders made use of the strip, while the low flyers were out in force enjoying the muddy fields around the site. Then it’s on to Hickstead for Street Machine’s 5th Yankee Doodle Sunday in September 1989 followed by action from the 1989 International Doorslammers at Santa Pod where the best of British doorslammers were joined by a strong Swedish entry...
